ILODE COMMUNITY BOREHOLE COMMISSIONING

In a moment that filled hearts with hope and joy, Henry Holas Foundation commissioned its second BoreHole Project at Omitoto Line 3, Ilode Ile Ife, on Saturday, 8th July 2023. The project aims to provide sustainable access to clean water and empower people in the community.

Access to clean water is a fundamental necessity for any community to thrive. Unfortunately, the Ilode community had long struggled with water scarcity, forcing its residents to endure hardships in accessing water. Recognizing, the urgent need to address this crisis, a dedicated team of the Henry Holas Foundation took effective action to make the Borehole available to the community.

The team arrived at 10:30 am and was welcomed by the community chairman and Landlords. The program started with an opening prayer and speech anchored by the team moderator stating the significance of the foundation's step towards ensuring that everyone in the community has access to clean, safe water for their basic daily needs. Another member of the team addressed the importance of proper maintenance for the continuous benefit of the community. We are confident that these new water facilities will go a long way towards reducing the burden of families who had to travel long distances to find water.

The Landlords and members of the community expressed their sincere appreciation, praised the timeliness of the intervention, and prayed that the foundation continues to have the power and grace to empower more communities.

The event was a great success, and we look forward to organizing more BoreHole projects over time.
