Community Development Project

Access to clean and safe water. It’s a developmental project that aims to contribute to the livelihood of local communities and curtail the outbreak of waterborne diseases and infections. It also eradicates students' lateness to school due to the unavailability of safe water in their immediate communities.

Project Vision: To substantially increase the supply of safe and clean water. It addresses water scarcity and number of people suffering from water Borne diseases in rural and urban communities across the State. 

Project Mission: To provide sustainable water facilities(Boreholes) to people in local communities in Ile Ife and its environment. 

Project Goals and Objectives 

  • To reduce water scarcity in local communities by ensuring the constant provision of boreholes in these communities. 
  • To eliminate the endless search for water for both children and adults. 
  • To eradicate waterborne diseases caused by unsafe and unclean water. 
  • To improve the livelihood of people in the community. 
  • To improve and encourage water sanitation management in the community.

Progress So Far: 

Diverse communities have benefited, and more communities are set to benefit.  We aim to provide more as we embark on our community development project across the state and the country at large.
